Welcome to the Sports Administrator! My name is Rodney Bussey, and I am focused on intramural, interscholastic, and collegiate athletics administration. My sports administration and higher education journey began in Canada and has taken me to California, Texas, and Tennessee. With a Ph.D. in Kinesiology, I bring a unique perspective that includes experience as a former interscholastic athletic director, university intramurals director, and chair of a university athletic committee.  

My goal for this site is to provide a hub for athletic and intramural directors to continue their professional growth and depth of knowledge to connect and share with like-minded professionals. Sports, managed by servant leaders, have the power to teach athletes transforming life lessons. 

Through this work, I hope this site will be the conduit for others to share their knowledge, experience, and techniques, whether through implementing innovative programs, developing strategic partnerships, or advocating for student-athletes’ needs. The sharing and exchange of ideas will strengthen programs to the benefit of student-athletes.
